Early stage Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer – Comparison of surgery and stereotactic body radiotherapy
Surgery is the standard of care for operable patients with early stage lung cancer. Yet, it is not always possible, as many patients are elderly, have comorbidities or may refuse to undergo an operation. In this article we want to address diagnostics, staging, prognosis and therapeutic options of early stage lung cancer and want to compare surgery and SBRT.
